Orchid Chunky Mix is designed to be extra light and avoid compaction to provide maximum oxygen to the root system, a must for these unique plants.
WHAT’S IN IT
- Organic: coconut husk chips, recycled forest products
- Inorganic: chunky perlite
FUN FACT
As orchids typically are not found in the ground, they obtain water and nutrients from the air, rain, and debris that collects in the crevices in which they grow.
Note: Please, please, please don’t follow the ice cubes watering strategy. 😅 Water them deeply every week or two depending on your situation, and it’ll keep the mix generally humid for the roots to be happy long term.
